Meet me in my dreams as
summer's heat rests on my shoulders
Hot breezes whistle off the ocean's waves
Can I find your peace in this season's winds?
Is there solace watching the tide's roll?
Lord, are you in the warm air today as it touches my face?
Will the salt-teared waters make us one?
Or do I search for your being again
in the still, deep dreams of this night?

Meet me in my dreams as
Autumn turns my world into darker colors
Faded are the green pastures to reddish brown
Is your Spirit in the flowing sway of the grasses?
Do I find a smile when the cooler air greets my face?
Lord, are you in all the new colors of this day?
Will fall's chilling whisper make us one?
Or do I search for your being again
in the still, deep dreams of this night?

Meet me in my dreams as
Winter's chilling blanket covers me
It's coldness makes one seek warmth
Is there a lesson in this season's dark clouds?
Do I find rebirth through winter's death?
Lord, are you in this iced over place?
Can the fire melt away the frozen barrier?
Or will I search for your being again
in the still, deep dreams of this night?

Meet me in my dreams as
Spring pushes winter away with new life
Fresh hues appear with the season's gentle rains
Lord, is the answer in the heart of this moment?
Do you still hold the key that unlocks my soul?
Does your Spirit wind make the wild flowers dance?
Will the warm rain falling on my face make me whole?
Or will I search for your being again
in the still, deep dreams of this night?
