THERE'S MAGIC AND THERE'S MUSIC
AROUND THE CAMPFIRES OF TERLINGUA
THERE'S BEAUTY AND THERE'S PEACE
IN WATCHING THE SUNRISE
UNDER THE WARM TERLINGUA SUN

I WENT THERE WITH MY NEW FRIENDS
RIO GRANDE WASHED AWAY MY SINS
THIS WIDE OPEN SPACE IS GOD'S SECRET PLACE
ALL THE JOY
UNDER THE WARM TERLINGUA SUN

MOUNTAINS MAJESTY
A COLOR-PAINTED TAPESTRY
I WENT THERE SEEKING A HOME
THE STARS ARE BIG AND BRIGHT
UNDER THAT OLE'TEXAS NIGHT
NO MORE TO ROAM
UNDER THE WARM TERLINGUA SUN

SO WE ALL WENT AND BOUGHT A BRAND NEW HAT
UPON THE DESERT FLOOR WE ALL SAT
I SAW A SONG IN THE EYES OF EVERYONE
UNDER THE RAYS
OF A WARM TERLINGUA SUN

I'VE JUST BEEN DRIFTING THROUGH TIME
BUT I STOPPED BY THIS PLACE TO FEEL THE SHINE
BIG BEND CACTUS AND FLOWERS ON THE MOUNTAIN TOP
MADE ME STOP
UNDER THE WARM TERLINGUA SUN

MOUNTAINS MAJESTY
A COLOR-PAINTED TAPESTRY
I WENT THERE SEEKING A HOME
THE STARS ARE BIG AND BRIGHT
UNDER THAT OLE' TEXAS NIGHT
NO MORE TO ROAM
UNDER A WARM TERLINGUA SUN
