You Did Not See Her Cry
By Nancy G. Brundrett
Copyright 2003

You did not see her cry
All the rivers flowing down by and by
Now she's leaving and you wonder why...
You did not see her cry.

Now you want it to be the same thing
You even wearing your wedding ring
Pain and the hurt came like a storm
From the inside out her heart was torn
You did not see her cry

Homeless, loveless
With no eyes to see
Shameless, blameless
Loneliness is your new high
You did not see her cry

You did not see her eyes
Did not open yours or even try
So your blue skies with turn to into gray
Now you're left with just one thing to say:
I did not see her cry

I did not see her cry
As she's walking out the door
Why didn't you stop and love her more
Sure you'll get by
But you did not see her cry...

* A close friend told me I cry without tears. My crying comes from the look of pain on my face. Silent tears, tearless tears...I suppose so. I feel the emotions of crying, yet the tears will not fall.

He who has eyes to see, let them see
He who has faith, let it be
He who loves, let it set you free
He who has compassion, touch me

God is my provider, in Him will I trust
Go is my protector, in Him will I be sheltered from harm
God is my shield and His word is my armour
I will not lean on my own understanding, I will lean on the Spirit of God through prayer.
I will have trust and comfort from Jesus, who loves me and loves every human walking this earth.
In the name of Jesus I pray that God would let love flow through me and into me.
Love is the most powerful force! Love is a two-edged sword! Let peace surround me and shelter me. All I ever wanted was a home and in that place I wanted love spoken there. This is my prayer. Lord, please give me a home of love.

Rich blessings to you,

Nancy G.
