CLIMB NOT FALL

Could your arms and grace hold me?
Lord when you're here I am free
This world can make me bleed
Can't hear you call
Teach me to climb and not fall

Lift me to your rock it is higher than me
Far above horizons to see
Take me to your garden I will give you my all
Teach me to climb and not fall

Let my steps be pleasing to you
Your words unfolding something new
In visions and dreams come to me
So through your eyes more clearly I can see

My heart is aching, fix all that's broken
I'm on my knees feeling small
Words are not painful, but the lack of an answer
Teach me to climb and not fall

Storms rushing in and I am on the shoreline
Waves crashing in so tall
Lord cover me and take my hand
Teach me to climb and not fall

Let my steps be pleasing to you
Your words unfolding something new
In visions and dreams come to me
So through your eyes more clearly I can see

I'll empty out my heart
You pour spirit into my soul
Fill me up with your all
Teach me to climb and not fall
